Crim was born in Queens, NY in 1979. He’s the middle child of three siblings. At age 3 he arrived with his family to Atlanta, GA, where he was raised, and in 1997 graduated from Clarkston High School. During his High School years Crim became known as the #24 Defensive Player of the Year, leading his team to the state Semi-finals at the historical Georgia Dome. He became #1 All County, State and National by his leadership abilities on the field.

The call to produce music with passion started at age 12, when he performed at a High School talent search. Today he continues to create, produce, and market music with messages that are fresh and relevant. Crim’s artistic music career led him into becoming the co-founder of Top Flight Records in 1998, a secular music label. In 2001, after a personal encounter with the Lord, he founded Crim Group Network, a gospel label. In 2005 he released his first gospel album entitled, The Next Level Chapter III.

Crim is the proud father of 3 sons, Kenneth, Joshua, and Kal-El Crim. In 2021, he was ordained as a Minister and an Apostle of Music by Supernatural Life International Ministries (SLIM). After answering the call, he established the CRIM Foundation, a 501c3 non profit organization dedicated to empower the youth. He is an author, artist, composer, song writer, entrepreneur and philanthropist.
